The Technology
When water is pressurized up to 60,000 pounds or more per square inch (psi) and forced through a tiny opening, it can cut a variety of soft materials including food, paper and baby diapers, rubber and foam. When small amounts of abrasive particles, such as garnet, are mixed into the jet stream, the resulting "abrasive waterjet" can cut virtually any hard material such as metal, composites, stone and glass.  

Our water jet equipment is used to cut metal and stone to close tolerances.   As a result, our medallions and borders are especially tightly knit.  Experienced stone cutters and setters "from the old country" are astounded by the quality of our work.  You can be assured of this translating into long life and exceptionally beautiful results.  Here is some further information about the process.
